IOM South Africa Releases an Information DVD on Safe Migration
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in South Africa has released an information DVD on Safe Migration to address on-going migration challenges in the Limpopo Province, South Africa.
The information DVD aims to inform and educate the migrants on their rights and responsibilities in South Africa, types of documentation, applying for documentation as well as Safe migration practices that protect them from dangers such as general violence, sexual and gender-based violence, human trafficking, human smuggling etc
The production of the DVD was made possible by funding from The United States Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM)
