Media Training to promote responsible reporting on migration related issues
13 July 2022: The SRHR – HIV Knows No Borders and the Social Cohesion internally funded project trained local media on balanced and responsible reporting. The objective of capacitating the media was to create awareness to media practitioners on their important role of influencing public opinion. To help media practitioners understand their important role media in reporting about Human Rights of nationals and migrants, create awareness on the consequences of publishing hate speeches to the public, Relation building with the media practitioners and communicators for content sharing. A total of 46 local media attended the training.
