IOM Congratulates UJ Students for winning the Gold Assegai Award
An awareness raising campaign on Human Trafficking developed by the University of Johannesburg (UJ) students and supported by IOM has scooped Gold Award at this year’s prestigious Assegai Awards.
Earlier this year, IOM partnered with UJ school of Strategic Communications and Graphic Design wherein students developed integrated awareness raising campaigns on Human Trafficking in South Africa as part of the University’s annual Strategic Communication curriculum and student assessment. The Top 5 Campaigns were entered into the Southern African Direct Marketing Association Assegai Awards which were held in Braamfontein on 6 November. The Assegai Awards celebrated and rewarded the innovation, creativity, strategy and return on investment within the direct marketing industry.
