UK TB Testing

Approved test clinics

You must be tested for tuberculosis (TB) if you are going to the UK for more than 6 months. Children under 11 years don't need an xray but will also get a certificate.

Your test must be from a clinic approved by the UK visa offices. They won’t accept a TB test certificate from a clinic they haven’t approved.

The following are approved clinics in South Africa.

You should contact the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in South Africa to book an appointment:

Tel: +27 (0)12 342 2789 or +27 (0)12 423 9612

Mobile: +27 (0)71 607 3380

Email: IOM - uktbsouthafrica@iom.int

For details of fees and fee structure, please contact the approved clinic where you want to get screened.
